Governance
The Northcross Board
Northcross Christian School is a ministry of Ryde Baptist Church and is a member of Christian Schools Australia (CSA) and Independent Schools NSW (ISNSW).
Northcross is governed by a Board of Directors, all committed Christians, who volunteer their time to support the mission of the School. The board is responsible for the financial oversight and risk management of the school and to ensure that Northcross is meeting legal obligations.
The board sets the long-term strategic direction for the school and ensures that its mission is defined and upheld. The commitment to delivering Christ-centred education that develops the whole child is at the heart of all its decisions.
The board works within policy frameworks to outline proper conduct, expectations and to ensure it operates within required legislations. This includes a Conflict of Interest policy which, if required, can be obtained by contacting the School Office.
The Principal is the nominated CEO of the school and is responsible for the day-to-day running and management of the school as directed and supported by the board.
