What Our Parents Say

What’s it really like at Northcross?

Here’s what our parents say about our school…

Our family has been a part of the Northcross community for 7 ½ years and we are still only half way through our time here. Our children have had many wonderful experiences at this school including musicals, interschool sports, public speaking competitions and science club. Our family has made some wonderful friends and has had many opportunities to get involved in the life of the school. We are thankful for the strong Christian ethos that is evident in every area of Northcross life. With its modern learning environment and nurturing teachers we would highly recommend it to all.

We wanted a Christian Education for our children and this is what we are receiving through Northcross. We saw a tiny advertisement of the School in the local newspaper several years ago when we were researching schools. It is amazing how Northcross has grown; full sized advertisements now! Northcross provides an educationally rich, Christ-centred education where our children are nurtured, loved and encouraged to develop inquisitive minds. Northcross is a blessing to our family.
Northcross has a real community feel to the school where parents are encouraged to be involved. We also like that it is a small school where the children are recognised as individuals and not ‘lost’ in the crowd in a bigger school. The Christian teachings are an integral part of the school and we enjoy the weekly assemblies which are like praise & worship sessions! We are definitely happy with our choice of sending our kids to Northcross.
Our family has been at Northcross for 11 years with my daughter commencing kindergarten in 2002. She is now attending high school, but through the foundation laid at Northcross from infants and primary and through leadership years of middle school, she was well prepared to enter high school with confidence, belief and a comprehensive education. My son is in Year 5 and Northcross has continued to teach our children to believe in themselves, have pride, respect and encourage others and will instil in them the Christian values of life which will endure forever.
